[ She huffs and puffs, messily patting at her forehead below her bangs, wiping away sweat and salt from the air. With all the hullabaloo with getting here, she's hardly had time to even look at the ocean — another sight she's not familiar with in the least. With a cursory look around at the chairs laid out and the people mingling, her head tilts. ]
Is there something special about this spot?

With all the hullabaloo with getting here, she's hardly had time to even look at the ocean — another sight she's not familiar with in the least. With a cursory look around at the chairs laid out and the people mingling, her head tilts. ]

Hmph. I wasn't against cancelling.
( she may have saved up some money for this, but she didn't mind finding something else to do in case hella was arrested, okay!! )
Yes, I've gotten us the best seats that allows us to see the stars later tonight. I rarely see them from my window.
( stars are almost a myth to her, but somehow, the sky cracks at night, and there's a few that can be seen. however, it's pretty sunny right now so they'll have to wait in order to see anything up there. )
If someone took our chairs then we would have to stand and see them! I just can't imagine it!

She knows it's a legitimate strain on her, so her teasing doesn't go too far, but she also can't help but laugh a little at the prospect of standing around being something unbearable. ] Actually, let's sit down for a bit right now. I wanna look at the sea.

There's not really such a thing as "going to the beach," except in the richer parts of Eastside. This is truly a sight she's never had, and it's as though she's trying to burn it into her memory. ]
I could get used to fancy ride like this.
